Advent Sunday

You have so much choice in the Benefice this Sunday, you will find it hard to choose.

10.00am in Nether Winchendon we have our shared celebration of Saint Nicholas led by Richard Phillips.

10.00am  in Long Crendon there is the regular monthly Cafe Sunday.

2.30-4pm in Nether Winchendon all ages are welcome to our family fun with "What's in the Box?".  Come along and find a "surprise" activity inside 12 of the box pews.

6pm in Long Crendon we have our Benefice Advent Carol Service led by Richard Phillips

This Sunday we have our 9am Holy Communion, a Common Worship service, without hymns, led by Rev Richard Phillips.

If you prefer a Family Friendly service, there is a Toy Service in Nether Winchendon at 10am  or Long Crendon at 10.30 both led by Rev Richard Phillips.

Gordon was born with severe clubbed feet, then as a very small child contracted polio. Calipers and surgery continued till his early twenties - and the story goes on (with later consequences). He will share some of the intriguing story in an illustrated talk - and how for him it can still tie in with the all-loving God. (One of his several books tell more - and for Children: Life's not always easy).

Morning Celebration - 12th November

Why not come along on Sunday at 9.50 for a biscuit and coffee before our Morning Celebration service which will start promptly at 10am and finish at 10.30.  Then walk with us up to the War Memorial for a Remembrance Day service at 10.45.

As usual, our service will be informal and modern, with a short drama and craft activity.

Rock Solid painted these rocks ready for advent.  Keep your eyes open around Chearsley as they will be hiding somewhere!  If you find one, please log it on the "Chearsley Rocks" facebook page and then re-hide it, ready for someone else to find.  Feel free to join in and paint your own!

Family Communion - 5th November

Do come along on Sunday and join our Family Communion service, led by Richard Phillips and share the bread and wine with us.  There will be a Junior Church upstairs with a story and craft led by Claire and Hannah.

If you prefer, there is a BCP Holy Communion in NW at 9am and Cafe Sunday running in Church House, Long Crendon at 10am.

Children in year 7 and above are welcome to Rock Solid 6-7.30.  Contact Sharon on 208740 for more information.
