11am Family Communion - 2nd Sept

Do come along on Sunday and join our Family Holy Communion service, led by Rev. Richard.  Please note the start time of 11am.  This will be followed at 12:30 pm by a ‘bring your own’  picnic, and deck chairs in  Ann Persson's lovely garden.

This will be followed by MeadowSong, again with the brilliant Paul Shinar and Laura.   Everyone is invited for an afternoon of lively music in Ann’s beautiful garden, please follow the signs for parking.   Tickets (£10) available from Joy Payne: joychearsley@gmail.com or 01844 208513

Chearsley Praise - 26th August

Come along on Sunday at 10am for our "Chearsley Praise", a service of hymns, short readings, prayers led by the children and a short talk, taken by John Scholefield. 

If you prefer, in Long Crendon, there is a BCP Holy Communion at 8am taken by Rev Richard and a Holy Communion at 10.30 taken taken by Rev Derek Witchell. Then at 6pm, John Scholefield is leading an Evensong in Nether Winchendon.

Biscuits and Bottle Tops

Calling all bakers - would anyone be able to bake a batch of car shaped biscuits for the Messy Church tent at the Classic Car show on Sunday 9th September?  I can provide a car shaped cutter and there is no need to ice them, as we will do that on the day.   We also need your bottle tops to act as wheels for another craft.  If you have any, please can you drop them on our porch or let me know and I can pick them up.  Thanks  Sharon

This Sunday - 12th August

We're back from Kenya, and we would love to tell you all about it, this Sunday at 10am in St Nicholas church. Come along and find out how far we got with the house, the family we built it for and the amazing experiences we had along the way.   There will be refreshments and the children can have a go at laying bricks There will also be an opportunity to donate to  Habitat for Humanity if you wish, but please don't feel obliged to, especially as so many of you have already been very generous and helped to make a dream come true for one lucky family.
