Family Communion & Rock Solid - 4th February

Do come along on Sunday and join our Family Communion service, led by Steve & Rose Williams, share the bread and wine with us and celebrate our Bells.  There will be a Junior Church upstairs with a story and craft led by Nicola George.

  

If you prefer, there is a BCP Holy Communion in NW at 9am and Cafe Sunday running in Church House, Long Crendon at 10am.

Children in year 7 and above are welcome to Rock Solid 6-7.30 in the evening for games, videos, dramas and chocolate!  Contact Sharon on 208740 for more information.

Pancake Party

Diary Dates

Sat 30th June - we will be holding some sort of fundraising event.  It might be a barn dance, a teddy zip wire off the tower, or something else.  Please give us your ideas and put the date in your diary.

Sun 2nd September -  Anne has kindly offered us use of a marquee in her garden, so we will probably have some sort of bring and share event.  Thoughts please!

Sat 22nd September - The Harvest Supper is back!  This time, bigger and better as we will have a new village hall to host it in!

Family Service - 28th January

This Sunday we have a Family Service at 10am, taken by Rev Richard Phillips.  Rumour has it, that there will be chocolate!

Holy Communion - 21st January

This Sunday we have our 9am Holy Communion, a Common Worship service, without hymns, led by Rev Richard Phillips.

If you prefer a Family Friendly service, there is a Family Service in Nether Winchendon at 10am  or Long Crendon at 10.30 both led by Rev Richard Phillips.

Morning Celebrtion - 14th January

Why not come along on Sunday at 10am for a biscuit and coffee before our Morning Celebration service which as usual, will be informal, all-age and modern, with fun activities for the children and intriguing questions for the adults.  This month we will be detectives again, looking at some of the evidence for Jesus Christ.

The Alpha Course

The Alpha Course, for anyone in the Benefice, started on

11^th January, from 8-9:30 pm in Church House, Long Crendon.   It is for anyone who is curious to explore the big questions of life, faith and meaning.   The sessions are designed to encourage conversation and explore the basics of the Christian faith in a friendly, open and informal environment.   We have homemade puddings, wine/beer, a short film, and a discussion where you can share your own thoughts.    We  have a couple of "Chearsley Tables" and are happy to give lifts.  To register your interest, or seek further information, please contact Sharon@cloverdale.biz or Tarascates@btinternet.com or darrensampson@rocketmail.com.
