Rob Atkinson

The community of Chearsley was deeply saddened to hear of the death of Rob Atkinson on January 23rd. Over the years Rob has contributed a huge amount to the life of the village including being Treasurer of St. Nicholas' Church and other local organizations. His loss will be most keenly felt by his wife Sue, daughter Emily, his elderly mother, brother and wider family, whom we uphold in our love and prayers in their sadness.

Rob's funeral will take place at 11.00am on Thursday February 14th in St. Nicholas Church to which all are welcome to come.

Service of Healing Prayer

Sunday March 17th: 6.00pm Chearsley

Whatever concerns you, concerns God. You may be struggling with illness, anxiety, addiction, stress at work or family issues. You may be feeling that God seems far away or that you need guidance or reassurance. You may be carrying past resentments or the hurts of a relationship. You can take all these to God anytime by yourself but it also sometimes helps to bring them to God in a special service where, only if you wish, you can receive prayer with the laying of hands. This is personal and confidential. Healing is not just about physical well being but includes wholeness in all aspects of our lives.
